Stenlille – Private Garden is a garden designed for a single-family house, rooted in everyday use and a close relationship with nature. The design focuses on creating a biodiverse garden that supports plant and insect life while offering a calm, immersive outdoor space connected to the surrounding landscape.
The garden is organised through gentle paths and informal planting, allowing movement and views to unfold gradually. A diverse mix of trees, shrubs, grasses, and perennials creates structure, seasonal change, and habitat, while keeping the overall expression natural and unforced.
The garden was developed with an emphasis on soil quality, long-term resilience, and low maintenance. Planting was selected to establish stable plant communities that can evolve over time, balancing biodiversity with practical use and a strong sense of place.
